The company calendar in HoorayHR gives you an overview of who is present or absent. This overview is automatically generated based on work schedules, recorded absences (such as leave or sick leave) and your colleagues’ planned work locations.
Work schedules: who works when
The standard view of attendance in the calendar is based on an employee’s work schedule. For example, if a colleague is not working, that day is shown in grey. The days on which someone is working are shown in white.
Leave
When an employee is on leave, this is shown in the calendar with a clear timeline on the relevant days. Colleagues can see each other’s leave, unless the leave type is set to hide the name in the calendar.
Read here how to hide the name of a leave type in the calendar.
Absence
Administrators and team leaders have full insight into absence (history) in the calendar. Absence is not visible to employees.
Public holidays
Public holidays set at company level are displayed in the calendar. This allows you to see exactly which days are collective days off.
Read here how to set up public holiday schedules.
Work locations
In the calendar, employees can indicate where they are working that day. You can set this manually on a daily basis or plan ahead for a longer period.
Read here how to set a work location.
Tip: Do you only want to see specific events? Then filter by, for example, absence, leave or public holidays via ‘All events’ at the top right of the calendar.
