Integrating HoorayHR with Simplicate is a simple and efficient way to manage leave and absence for your employees. With just a few steps, you can streamline your processes and ensure that all information is accurately synchronized between the two platforms.

The Integration in Brief

With this integration, you can manage all leave and sick leave requests in HoorayHR. As soon as a request is approved or someone reports sick, the information will automatically be synchronized to Simplicate.

You Decide What to Sync

We understand that not all leave and absence types may need to be synchronized between the two platforms. That's why you have the ability to choose which types you want to sync.

Activate the Integration

To activate the integration, simply go to app.hoorayhr.io/integrations/simplicate and follow the steps provided. You will need to create an API key and enter the necessary data to complete the integration.

Manage Your Settings

Once the integration is activated, you can manage your settings to determine what information you want to sync between the two platforms. You can always adjust these settings later if needed.

Link Your Colleagues

To ensure that the integration is only syncing information for the correct employees, you will need to link your colleagues in both HoorayHR and Simplicate. You can easily see who is linked in the colleague overview and on their profile.
If someone is not linked, then no information will be synchronized for them.

Recommended Simplicate settings

To avoid any confusion, it's important to adjust your settings in Simplicate so that employees can no longer add leave or absence there. This will ensure that all requests are managed through HoorayHR and properly synchronized with Simplicate.

1. Leave Types

  • Turn off 'Approve leave request': This prevents double approval, as leave approved in HoorayHR will automatically be approved in Simplicate.

  • Enable 'Blocked': This makes leave types 'read-only' in Simplicate, allowing employees to view but not change their leave requests.

2. Absence

  • Enable 'Blocked': This makes sick leave types 'read-only' in Simplicate, ensuring employees can view but not modify their absences.

When are items synchronised?

As soon as an approved leave request is added or updated in HoorayHR, it will be synchronised with Simplicate. This means that any changes made to the leave request, such as the dates or reason, will be reflected in Simplicate.

Similarly, when a sick leave item is added or updated in HoorayHR, it will also be synchronised with Simplicate. This ensures that all employee absences are accurately recorded in both platforms.

Please note: when you first activate the integration between HoorayHR and Simplicate, items from the past will not be retroactively synchronised.

Only items added or newly requested and approved after the integration is activated will be synchronised.
