HoorayHR is designed to accommodate employees in different time zones. This feature allows for seamless communication and coordination between employees, regardless of their location.

What does HoorayHR do with time zones?

When it comes to managing leave, absence, and time, HoorayHR uses the user's set time zone. This ensures that all requests and updates are recorded accurately according to the employee's local time.

We understand the importance of accurate time tracking and management, especially when it comes to employees in different time zones. That's why HoorayHR has made it easy to handle different time zones seamlessly.

In the overviews and calendar, you will always see the date and time of the request in the employee's time zone. In the item and calendar views, you will also see the time zone if an item has been added for a different time zone. This allows for easy tracking and management of requests and updates.

Setting the time zone

Every employee has the option to set their own time zone in HoorayHR. This ensures that all requests and updates are recorded accurately according to the employee's local time.

Additionally, as an administrator, you have the option to set a default time zone for new employees in the company settings. This can save time and ensure consistency across the company.

When you change an employee's time zone, all items (leave, absence, and hours) will keep the time zone they were in when they were requested. This ensures that all records remain accurate and consistent.
