A streamlined recruitment process as well as directly integrating with HoorayHR.
If you are working with Homerun and you have hired a new candidate, you can arrange for them to be added directly to HoorayHR. From there, you can onboard the new colleague and make sure their profile is filled in HoorayHR. But first, how do you link Homerun to HoorayHR?
Connecting data from Homerun
Linking the integration can be done within HoorayHR, using the integrations page to activate Homerun. You will then be asked for an API key, which you will find in Homerun:
Click on your profile picture at the top left → Settings
Navigate to Integrations in the left menu
Scroll all the way to the bottom, the API section.
Click on Show API key and copy the shown code.
Paste it into the field in HoorayHR and click Save.
Activating the integration in HoorayHR
Activating the integration with Homerun via HoorayHR is done by following the steps below.
Step 1. In HoorayHR, go to the 'Integrations' tab.
Step 2. Click on 'Add integrations' here
Step 3. A new tab will then open in your browser, search for 'Homerun' here
Step 4. Click Homerun and enter the API token.
Step 5. Click on 'Next'
Step 6. It worked! Click 'Done' to complete the wizard.
Importing employees
Adding new colleagues to HoorayHR from Homerun can be done in 2 ways. One option is to automatically import as soon as a colleague is hired and is assigned this status in Homerun as well. The other way is a manual import into HoorayHR itself. Below, we will explain both options.
Automated import
From the moment the Homerun integration is activated, only new candidates who were hired after the day of activation are imported.
Every night, the system checks whether any new candidates have been hired. If a new candidate is hired, they will be automatically imported to HoorayHR.
Manual import
In addition to automatically importing new colleagues in HoorayHR, you can also import them manually. Follow the steps below to do a manual import into HoorayHR.
Step 1. Go to 'Colleagues'
Step 2. Click on 'Add colleague'
Step 3. Next to the 'Add colleague' button, click the down arrow for 'Import from Homerun'
Step 4. In the list, select who you want to import.
Step 5. Click on 'Import'
And you're done! Now you can fill this colleague's profile with all their information, such as name and address details and contract dates.
