Hiding users manually

Updated yesterday

As an administrator, you can hide users manually. This can be useful when a new colleague starts and does not yet have an active employment contract, or if, for example, you want to hide a freelancer’s account.

You can set a default at company level and adjust this at user level. Hidden users are assigned a ‘hidden’ status by the application.

Setting default visibility

The default value for this option can be set at company level via Company settings > Default visibility setting. When you add a new colleague, this setting will be applied to them.

Hiding a colleague at profile level

As an administrator, you can adjust the visibility setting on an employee’s profile.

  • Go to the employee’s profile.

  • Click on the More > Settings tab.

  • Using the toggle, you can hide the employee (green) or make them visible (grey).

Hidden users are assigned a separate avatar status: this is only visible to administrators.

Hiding users in bulk

You can also adjust visibility status in bulk. Go to the Colleagues overview, select the colleagues and choose Hide colleagues or Show colleagues.

Related keywords: hide users, make user visible, manage user visibility, adjust user status, hide employee system, set account visibility.
