When the actual work schedule differs from the contract schedule, for example with collective labour agreements that include ATV-uren, you can add an attendance schedule in HoorayHR. This makes sure leave, absence, and time tracking are processed correctly.
Note: only use the attendance schedule when the schedule for leave and time tracking differs from the contract schedule.
add an attendance schedule
To add an attendance schedule, go to the employee’s profile, open employment > work schedules, and click add work schedule. Turn on the checkbox "attendance hours are different". You can now enter the attendance schedule.
This second schedule (attendance schedule) is used for:
registering leave days,
processing absence,
logging hours and overtime.
The contract schedule stays active for:
calculating the leave balance,
the FTE percentage,
payroll processing (for example with an active Nmbrs integration).
practical example
An employee has a contract for 38 hours per week (5 × 7.6 hours), but actually works 5 × 8 hours under the collective labour agreement. By adding an attendance schedule, leave and time tracking are calculated correctly without affecting payroll processing or leave accrual.
