Manage salary types

Updated today

In the salary employment term, you can manage different salary types. This lets you define how salaries are recorded and assigned across your organisation.

Go to Core HR > Employment terms, click the three dots next to salary and choose edit.

System types

By default, we’ve prepared three system salary types for you.

  • Full-time gross per month

  • Part-time gross per month

  • Gross hourly wage

Add your own salary types

Want to add an extra type, e.g. for a specific collective labour agreement arrangement or pay structure?

  1. Click manage salary types next to salary.

  2. Choose add and name the type.

  3. Save your changes.

The new type is then available when assigning salaries.

Set a default

You can mark one type as the default. We then automatically suggest this type when assigning a salary. Click the three dots next to the desired type and choose make default.

Delete a salary type

Want to delete your own salary type (including assignments and history)? Click the three dots next to the type and choose delete.

Note! The default types (Full-time gross per month, Part-time gross per month and Gross hourly wage) can’t be deleted.
