Sick leave - improvements explained

Updated over a week ago

We have made some valuable improvements within our Leave feature, which make it even easier to record sick leave for your employees. We'd like to tell you about the 4 improvements.

Easier tracking of long-term sick leave

One of the biggest improvements is that it is now a lot easier to keep track of multiple phases within a sick leave dossier. This is particularly useful for a reintegration process, for example. You can now keep track of the entire course of illness within a single dossier.

Labels for more overview

Another useful addition is the ability to add labels within the sick leave feature. For example, you can distinguish between short-term and long-term absence, which gives you more control and overview.

Linking documents to absence file

Linking documents is possible at every stage of an sick leave dossier. This makes it very easy to find documents in the right place. For example, you can go directly to the reintegration plan or doctor's note from the file.

Disable sick report by employees

Finally, we've added a new setting that lets you control whether employees are allowed to report themselves sick and recovered. If you disable this in company settings, employees can still see their own sick leave dossiers, but only administrators and team leaders can manage it. This way, as an employer, you maintain control over the sick leave process.
