Who can view and manage hours?

You’ll learn all about the different types of actions and statuses hours can have.

Updated today

To view and manage time, we distinguish between several roles.

Administrator

Just like in the rest of the app, administrators have full access to the time feature. They can view and manage all time entries and access time reports. Administrators can also manage the time policy, compensations and labels.

Read here how you can give a standard user or team lead extra administrator rights for the time feature.

Team lead

A team lead can view, edit and review (approve or reject) employees’ time within their own team.

Employee

Employees can view, submit and edit their own time entries, as long as these are still pending or saved as a draft (in time tracking).

Note: Whether employees can edit their recorded time before submission depends on the setting ‘employees may edit recorded time before submission’ in the time policy.
