Approve hours

As a team lead, you review your team’s submitted time entries before they become final. As soon as an employee submits hours, they automatically appear in your task list.

Note: If an employee doesn’t have a responsible team lead assigned, the entries go to the admins. They then take over the review.

From the task list or an employee’s profile, open a submitted entry to check it. Make sure the following are correct:

  • the number of hours

  • the times

  • the selected compensation type

  • any warnings

Everything OK? Approve the entry. If something doesn’t add up, reject it and add a note. The employee automatically gets a notification and can submit a new entry if needed.

Note: Only team leads and admins can edit and re-review rejected entries.

Approve multiple time entries at once

You can also approve multiple submitted entries in bulk, for example if an employee submitted several days at once or when you want to handle a full week of submissions. You can do this via the task list or the overview of submitted items.

Tip: Use the filter ‘warnings’ to quickly see all entries with a warning. That way you can take targeted action and review all standout entries at once.
