HoorayHR assigns the following statuses:

Pending

These are the hours that have been registered by employees, or created by administrators/team leaders and scheduled for the future.

Approved

These are the hours that have been approved by the administrator or team leader.

Declined

These are the hours that have been declined by the administrator or team leader.

Revoked

These are the hours that have been revoked by the employee, administrator or team leader.

Processed

These are the hours processed by the administrator. You can see whether your overtime has been granted or not.

Who can carry out what actions and change statuses?

Employee

Registering hours: An employee can register their hours. This changes the status to “pending.

Revoking hours: An employee can revoke their hours. They can only do this when the request is still pending or when it regards the future. After revoking hours the status changes to ‘Revoked’.

Team leader

Adding hours: a team leader can register hours for themselves and their team members. This changes the status to “pending”.

Approve: a team leader can approve their own and their team members’ hours. The status of the item changes to “Approved”.

Decline: a team leader can decline their own and their team members’ hours. The status will change to “Declined”.

Revoking hours: a team leader can revoke their own and their team members’ hours. The status will change to “Revoked”.

Administrator

An administrator can do all of the above, and:

Delete: an administrator can delete the hours from the system. After deleting the hours cannot be restored.
