Assign a hours policy

You can assign an hours policy to one or more colleagues at any time. This way, you decide which policy applies to which colleagues. Only admins can manage these assignments.

Assign an hours policy to multiple colleagues

To assign an hours policy to multiple colleagues, go to the hours policy overview. Click the options icon (⁝) and choose assign policy. Then fill in the following:

  • Colleagues

    Select one or more colleagues to link the policy to.

  • Start date

  • Choose the date from which the policy applies to the selected colleagues.

Note: For policies with the period set to week, you can only choose Monday as the start date. If the period is set to day, you can choose any day.

Assign an hours policy via the profile

You can also assign an hours policy per colleague via the profile. Go to colleagues and open the relevant colleague’s profile. Navigate to time > policies > assign policy. Then fill in the following:

  • Hours policy

    Select a policy you want to assign.

  • Start date
    Choose the date from which the policy applies.

  • End date (optional)
    Optionally set when the policy ends.

In the profile, you also see a clear timeline of all assigned hours policies, including start and any end dates.
