Bulk actions when assigning employment terms

Updated today

When you assign an employment term, you can use bulk actions. This is handy when you want to set a new fixed value or, for example, a pay rise for several colleagues at once.

Bulk actions

After selecting the colleagues, you can edit multiple colleagues at once in the assignment screen. You can choose from the following bulk actions:

  • set value: choose a fixed value or a calculation.

  • set salary type: only available for the salary employment term.

Set a fixed value

You can easily set a new fixed value for all selected colleagues.

  1. In the bulk action menu, choose set value.

  2. Select fixed value.

  3. Enter the desired value (e.g. €400 or 'yes')

  4. Click save to apply the value for all colleagues.

Based on a calculation

You can also use a calculation, for example for a pay rise by percentage or a fixed amount.

  1. In the bulk action menu, choose set value.

  2. Select based on a calculation.

  3. Choose the calculation method:

    1. current value + percentage (e.g. increase all salaries by 3%).

    2. current value + amount (e.g. add €100 to the current value).

  4. Optionally set the rounding method:

    1. standard

    2. always round up

    3. always round down

  5. Click save to apply the new values.

  6. In the assignment screen, you’ll clearly see which change was applied.

Tip: you can also enter a negative number. For example, -3% or -100. In that case, the value will decrease instead of increase.
