Example
Imagine, at Yippee Ltd. employees get one holiday (8 hours) extra for every 5 years they have worked at the company. Employee get 200 hours of leave every year and on April 5th 2023, this employee will have been working at the company for 5 years. How do you make sure this colleague gets 208 hours of leave per year from then onwards?
The solution is to assign the leave type again to the employee involved. When doing so, keep in mind the following:
(A) Select a start date from when you want the increased budget to apply (in the example 5 April 2023)
(B) When selecting an employee, enter the new leave allowance (208 hours in our example)
(C) For all employees who have already been appointed with a certain amount (200 hours in our example), this will be automatically ended on the date one day before the new appointment (in the example: 200 hours will be active until 4 April 2023, and starting on 5 April it will be 208 hours).
