Set which features are visible to employees

In HoorayHR, as an admin you decide which features are visible to employees and team leads. Sometimes it’s useful to hide a feature for a while, for example because your organisation doesn’t use it yet. Go to company settings > feature visibility.

Make a feature visible

Set the toggle to on (green) to make a feature visible. From then on:

  • Employees and team leads can see and use the feature.

  • HoorayHR sends notifications.

Hide a feature

Set the toggle to off (grey) to hide a feature. From then on:

  • Employees and team leads can’t see or use the feature.

  • HoorayHR doesn’t send notifications.

Heads up! When you hide a feature, employees and team leads can’t see it at all. Its history is no longer visible to them. Admins always keep access, regardless of the settings.

FAQ

Can I set this per employee?

No. You switch features on or off at company level for employees and team leads. Admins always see everything.

Do I lose any data when I deactivate a feature?

No. All data stays available, but only admins can see it. An admin can activate the feature again at any time.
