To calculate the distance, HoorayHR uses route and location data from HERE Technologies. The distance is calculated automatically based on a car journey, always according to the shortest route between the departure and final address.
Adjusting the distance manually
It may happen that the calculated distance does not quite match the actual route driven, for example due to detours or personal preference. In that case, you can adjust the distance manually.
After entering the departure and arrival location, click on the pencil icon next to the number of kilometres. Here you can enter the desired number of kilometres.
When an employee manually adjusts the number of kilometres, this is clearly indicated. As team leader, you see this in the notification, in the task overview and in the feature overview a warning icon appears next to the relevant trip. This way, you maintain insight and prevent abuse.
Do you want to reset the distance to the originally calculated distance? Then click the arrow in the distance field after you have adjusted the distance.
