As a HoorayHR customer, there is the opportunity to interact with our API. Our API is currently being expanded all the time, for an up-to-date overview of possibilities please check the documentation.
Creating an API key
To communicate with the API, you need a key, which can be created by a user with an administrator role in the HoorayHR environment via My settings > API keys.
When creating a key, scopes can be selected and an expiry date set. There is no limit to the number of keys that can be created.
An API key is personal and acts from the user who created the key. This means that when you approve a leave request via an API key, it is done on behalf of this person and is also visible in the application.
Please note: the ability to create API keys is a feature included in our Plus package.
