As an employer, it’s important to maintain oversight of your business and ongoing processes. The workflows feature in HoorayHR helps you structure and document all processes within your organisation.

Creating categories

Organise your workflows effectively by dividing them into categories. To get you started, we’ve provided several default categories such as onboarding, offboarding, and personal development. You can also easily create a new category yourself. Choose a standard category or customise your own.

Note: During the transition to Workflows 2.0, existing workflows and templates will not be automatically categorised. Start by creating and assigning categories right away.

Setting up a process

Once you’ve added a new category, you can easily set up the process. Do this by adding a new template where you define the steps of the process.
Once this is complete, you’ll gain immediate insights into the category, including:

  • The number of linked templates.

  • The number of active workflows.

  • The number of delayed workflows.

Editing a category

You can edit a category by navigating to the workflow overview, where you’ll find an edit button (three dots) next to each category. Click on it and select ‘Edit’.

Deleting a category

Want to delete an entire category, including its associated labels, workflows, and templates, all at once? In the workflow overview, you’ll find an edit button (three dots) next to each category. Click ‘Delete’. Note: This action is irreversible.

Organising workflows with labels

Within a category, you can easily create labels and link them to workflows. This makes it even simpler to organise workflows within a category.
For example: If you have different types of onboarding processes, you can use labels to differentiate between them. Then, in your overviews, you can quickly filter based on the selected labels.

Categorising workflows and templates

When creating a template or workflow, you can assign it to a specific category. Additionally, you can move multiple templates or workflows to a different category at the same time. Keep in mind that labels will be disconnected from workflows, as they are specific to each category.
