Passkeys are a modern method of authentication that replaces passwords. It works as a digital key unique to your Account and device. Instead of remembering a password, you use your device's built-in security, such as your fingerprint, facial recognition or PIN, to log in to HoorayHR. You can also configure multiple passkeys.

Passkeys make logging in a lot easier. You no longer have to remember passwords and can log in in seconds with your fingerprint or facial recognition. In addition, passkeys are more secure: because they are unique to each website and cannot be reused, they also offer better protection against hackers and phishing attacks.

You can easily add a passkey to your Hooray Account through the security settings. To do so, go to Settings > My settings > Security > Add passkey

No problem, you can also always log in with your password (in combination with your two-factor authentication code). Once you've logged in, you can delete your existing passkeys and add new ones through the security settings.

Passkeys are automatically synchronized via iCloud on Apple devices and via Google Password Manager on Android devices. Also, most password vaults such as 1Password, Bitwarden and Dashlane support the use of passkeys.
