Log in faster and more securely with passkeys

Passkeys are a modern way to sign in, replacing passwords. They work like digital keys that are unique to your account and device. Instead of remembering a password, you use your device’s built-in security, such as your fingerprint, facial recognition, or PIN, to log in to HoorayHR. You can also set up multiple passkeys.

Passkeys make logging in much easier. You no longer have to remember passwords and can log in within seconds with your fingerprint or facial recognition. Passkeys are also more secure: because they’re unique to each website and can’t be reused, they offer better protection against hackers and phishing attacks.

You can easily add a passkey to your HoorayHR account via the security settings. Go to Settings > My settings > Security > Add passkey

No worries, you can still log in with your password (together with your two-factor authentication code). Once you’re logged in, you can remove your existing passkeys and add new ones via the security settings.

Passkeys are automatically synchronised via iCloud on Apple devices and via Google Password Manager on Android devices. Most password managers such as 1Password, Bitwarden and Dashlane also support using passkeys.
